LPG Prices Reduced in Pakistan for July 2026
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for July 2026, providing relief to households and businesses that rely on LPG for cooking and commercial use. The revised prices came into effect on July 1, 2026, under OGRA's monthly pricing mechanism.
New LPG Prices
According to OGRA's notification:
LPG price has been reduced by Rs7.51 per kilogram, bringing the new official price to Rs234.60 per kg.
The price of a standard 11.8kg domestic LPG cylinder has decreased by Rs88.59, with the new consumer price set at Rs2,768.31.
Relief for Consumers
The reduction is expected to benefit millions of consumers, particularly in areas where natural gas is unavailable and LPG is the primary fuel for cooking and heating.
Businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and small industries that depend on LPG may also see a slight reduction in operating costs.
Monthly Price Revision
OGRA revises LPG prices every month based on fluctuations in international market rates and local pricing calculations. Consumers are advised to purchase LPG from licensed distributors and report any overcharging to the relevant authorities.
Conclusion
The reduction in LPG prices for July 2026 offers welcome relief for domestic and commercial consumers across Pakistan. While the decrease is modest, it is expected to ease fuel expenses for households that rely on LPG for their daily energy needs.
